The iPod will say "locked out" or "access pass code" and the computer will says that it needs to be synched up to the original program. Hold down the top button and home button at the same time. A message will pop up. Ignore it and let the iPod turn off. Take your finger off the top button and leave your finger on the home button until full start off. It will say iPod in recovery mode. yes mine has done that too , i dont what ipod you have... I have the ipod and it did do this one where I could not get in and i had to connect to itunes. So what you do is connect to itunes and login into your apple account go onto settings and press reset , your ipod will be resetted to wear its like brand new now , but it will funcionaly and just be perfect... Hope it helped!
